Alana Riley is a photo/video-based artist and freelance photographer living in Montreal, Canada. She completed her B.F.A. in Studio Art and Photography from Concordia University in Montreal in 2003. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Canada, the United States, China and Ireland. In 2010, she was awarded the Prix Pierre-Ayot by the City of Montreal and the Association des galleries d'art contemporain, as well as being a finalist for the Emerging Photographers of Canada awarded by the Magenta Foundation. She is on the Board of Directors at Dazibao, centre de photographies actuelles, since 2008. Her work is represented by the Joyce Yahouda Gallery.
